Abstract

Milletvekilligi, temelde halkin kendi iradesiyle yonetilme hak-kini devrettigi bir statudur. Tum secim donemlerinde siyasi partiler ve adaylar maksimum oy seviyesine ulasmak icin belirli duzeylerde kampanya harcamasi gerceklestirirler. Siyasetin finansmani kavraminin buyuk bir kismini olusturan bu kavram; hazine yardimlari, aidatlar, bagislar ve cesitli organizasyonlardan saglanan gelirlerden olusmaktadir. Milletvekili olmak isteyen kisilerde secim donemlerinde daha iyi tanitim faaliyetleri gerceklestirmek icin mumkun oldugu olcude ek fon yaratma cabasi sergilemektedir. Bu acidan, her milletvekili adayi bir dizi finansal kararlar verir ve finans perspektifine gore, yatirimci benzeri bir karar surecine dahil olur. Bu calismanin amaci, adaylarin kisisel kampanya butcelerini tanimlamak ve finans bakis acisi ile secimleri kazanmak icin risk alan ya da almayan bir birey gibi hareket edip etmediklerini ortaya cikartmaktir. Bu amaca yonelik olarak Izmir Ili’nde secime katilan on dort siyasi partinin milletvekili adaylarina ve bagimsiz adaylara yonelik bir anket uygulamasi gerceklestirilmis ve elde edilen bulgular degerlendirilmistir.
