Perakendecilik Sektorunde Kent Bakkallarin Rekabet Gucunun Analizi: Izmir Ornegi

Abstract

Turkiye’de ozellikle son 25 yilda organize perakendecilik alaninda yasanan gelismeler, geleneksel alisveris ve tuketim anlayisinda da hizli bir degisime neden olmus ve bunun sonucunda, buyuk marketlere ve perakende zincirlerine gecis yasanmistir. Perakendeci isletmelerin icinde en kucuk birimi olusturan bakkallar farkli buyuklukteki rakipleri karsisinda zor duruma dusmekte, kisitli finansal imkanlariyla olusturmaya calistiklari atilimlari sonucsuz kalmakta ve isyerlerini kapatma noktasina gelmektedir. Turkiye’de son yillarda geleneksel yapidaki bakkallarin dogal bir surec icinde geriledigi ancak gunumuzde hala pazar icinde cok yuksek bir orana sahip oldugu bilinmektedir. Bu calismada bakkallarin mevcut durumlarinin yaninda icinde bulunduklari rekabet kosullarinin analiz edilmesi ve rekabetin isletmeler uzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaclanmistir.
