Impacto del Gasto de Capital del SPNF sobre el Crecimiento Económico de Bolivia en el período 2006-2016

Abstract

En los últimos años, la inversión pública se dinamizó de manera considerable con la aplicación del Modelo Económico Social Comunitario Productivo (MESCP) desde 2006, permitiendo reactivar e impulsar la demanda interna, aspecto que difiere al observado en periodos anteriores. Las simulaciones de escenarios a través de un Modelo de Equilibrio General Dinámico Estocástico (MEGDE) propuesto por la investigación develan la importancia del gasto de capital en el crecimiento económico. Los resultados indican que cambios en el gasto de capital en el corto plazo impulsan de manera persistente al crecimiento económico, y tienen efectos positivos sobre el consumo y la inversión privada, descartando la existencia de un posible efecto crowding-out.
