Abstract

Recently, Liu et al. (2020) have defined a class of the weighted edge corona networks and tried to obtain the generalized adjacency, Laplacian and signless Laplacian spectra. However, the spectra have been found to be prone to some errors and as a result we arrive at some unwanted consequences such as “non-singular” Laplacian, “imaginary” eigenvalues of undirected graphs. In this comment, we report the correct versions of adjacency, Laplacian and signless Laplacian spectra of weighted edge corona networks.
