Abstract

The definitions of vr and vz components do not satisfy the mass conservation law. Also, K refers to the permeability in the momentum equation while K refers to the temperature in the energy equation. This is a strong confusion in the mathematical model. Substituting the (∂Qn∕∂z) expression into the energy equation, this term has a positive sign, which is impossible. This term must have a negative sign. Using the definition of heat capacities ratio (τ), τ=1. In addition, there is no congruity in the Dk and DB units. Furthermore, the porosity parameter (G) and the radiation parameter (Nr) are dimensional. Moreover, Dk must be used instead of Dm in calculating the thermophoretic parameter (Nt). Further, chemical reaction parameter (γ) is dimensional. A suitable correct form of γ is given.
