Moment method and the rarefied gas flow in channels

Abstract

The relations between diffusion fluxes and the distribution function moments at the channel walls have been established for a multicomponent gas mixture flowing in a plane channel. The problems of barodiffusion and thermal diffusion in the binary mixture are discussed.
