Abstract

Space and time dependent density correlations are studied for a simple birth-death dynamic growth model. Starting from the exact dynamics, an approximation is made which is analogous to the repeated ring approximation of kinetic theory. A critical slowing down and a diverging correlation length are observed in steady state.
