Abstract

Based on listed firms from 2011 to 2022, this paper adopts a two-way fixed model to explore the relationship between executives` overseas experience and corporate resource allocation efficiency. The findings reveal that executives` overseas experience can effectively stimulate corporate resource allocation efficiency. The positive impact is achieved by improving executives` remuneration and corporate information disclosure quality. The findings assist firms in effectively recruiting executives with international experience, enhancing their intellectual capital, and contributing to enterprises' comprehension of the effectiveness of resource allocation.
