Abstract

This study investigates the interaction of optical vortex beams with a four-level diamond germanium-vacancy (GeV) color center system, focusing on the generation and propagation dynamics of probe vortex beams. We explore the influence of control field intensities on the intensity and phase profiles of the generated vortex beams, demonstrating that vorticity is effectively transferred from the initial probe beam to the generated beam. Our findings reveal a complex relationship between the Rabi frequencies of the control fields and the intensity of the generated vortex beam, with notable enhancements observed under optimal conditions. The results highlight the potential for manipulating vortex beam characteristics through tailored control field parameters, paving the way for advanced applications in quantum optics and photonics.
