A new two-parameter controllable multi-scroll 4D Hamiltonian conservative hyperchaotic system with improved nested COS-PWL function

Abstract

A new two-parameter controllable multi-scroll Hamiltonian conservative hyperchaotic system is proposed in this paper. By utilizing an improved nested cosine-piecewise linear (COS-PWL) saturation function in combination with a 4D Hamiltonian conservative system, a 4D Hamiltonian conservative hyperchaotic system that can regulate multi-scroll according to two parameters is proposed. Compared with the nested Sine-PWL function, the system can produce hyperchaos. And the control parameter is more than just the saturation value E, the gain p is more sensitive to the wider control range of the system’s multi-scroll. The effect of the variation of the saturation value E and gain p of the control parameters on the phase trajectories of the multi-scroll is consistent with the behavior of the Lyapunov exponents (LEs) and bifurcations. Finally, we successfully constructed the system via the DSP hardware platform, demonstrating its practicality.
