‘After glaciers?’ Towards post-Arctic tourism

Abstract

•Emerging post-Arctic tourism results from Anthropocene and climate change impacts.•Post-Arctic tourism takes place in a post-apocalyptic Arctic.•In Post-Arctic tourism, opportunities to see glaciers and iconic wildlife are gone.•Post-Arctic tourism products will be the result of how the Arctic is portrayed today.
