Niveles de orfandad y medición de la mortalidad adulta en poblaciones del pasado: el caso de los Países Bajos (La Haya, 1850-1880)

Abstract

Suministra una estimación de los niveles de orfandad de La Haya desde 1850 a 1880; compara las diferentes técnicas de calcular la mortalidad adulta con la tasa de mortalidad de dicha población, a partir de observaciones directas; y señala los factores a los que se imputan las desviaciones entre las estimaciones indirecta y directa.
