Población y el desarrollo: hechos y reflexiones

Abstract

Resena el papel asignado a la poblacion en la tesis de CEPAL sobre desarrollo, justificandose la importancia de la dinamica demografica en la planificacion. Presenta una descripcion de las tendencias demograficas en el periodo 1960-1985. Identifica dimensiones del desarrollo y sus efectos sobre el cambio demografico, y considerando las transformaciones acaecidas, explora cambios que acompanarian escenarios sociopoliticos alternativos.
