Estimación del grado de cabalidad en el registro de las muertes en una población cerrada

Abstract

Presenta un metodo para estimar la omision en el registro de muertes (omision que se da en la mayor parte de los paises en vias de desarrollo) que puede considerarse como una generalizacion de un procedimiento, ideado por Samuel Preston, para el caso de una poblacion estable. Aplicaciones a Suecia, 1965-1970, y a Corea, 1970- 1975, ilustran el uso del metodo.
