Abstract

Analiza la importancia del sector público en América Latina y el Caribe para el desarrollo de la región; comprueba que el principal elemento común al sector público regional es la profundidad de la crisis presupuestaria fiscal; y manifiesta que el tipo de ajuste utilizado tiende a lesionar la capacidad de recuperación de ese sector.
