Los servicios: un vínculo inquietante entre América Latina y la economía mundial

Abstract

Examina algunas de las caracteristicas de los servicios, en especial las relacionadas con la internacionalizacion de los mismos, destacando las peculiaridades de los servicios en relacion a la economia de mercancias, el impacto de las nuevas tecnologias y el rol de las empresas transnacionales. Intenta dilucidar el trasfondo de las iniciativas internacionales sobre la materia para que la region pueda formular estrategias que minimicen los riesgos de tales iniciativas y hagan posible aprovechar el sector servicios para lograr una mejor insercion de la region en la economia mundial.
