Efectos distributivos durante la fase expansiva de Argentina (2002-2007)

Abstract

En este artículo se analiza el comportamiento del mercado detrabajo y la distribución del ingreso en Argentina entre el 2002 yel 2007, utilizando datos de la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares yestimaciones econométricas. Luego de la crisis del 2001, la situaciónlaboral a nivel agregado mejoró y hubo una marcada reducción inicialde la concentración de los ingresos. Sin embargo, esta reduccióndespués se moderó, al parecer debido a las dispares posibilidades deacceso de distintos tipos de hogares a los beneficios del crecimiento.Los integrantes de hogares de bajos recursos tuvieron menoresoportunidades de empleo y encararon desventajas en materia deinserción laboral y remuneraciones. El aislamiento y la homogeneidadsocial de los vecindarios en que se insertaban estos hogares parecenhaber influido en el resultado distributivo.
