Ethical Context and Ethical Leadership

Abstract

Ethical leadership?s effect on ethical climate and ethical culture which are the constituent factors of ethical context in organization is researched in this study. Data were gathered from employees who are employed in information technologies companies in Ankara city and were analyzed. Findings exhibited that ethical leadership has a direct effect on ethical culture and ethical climate and has also an indirect effect on ethical culture via ethical climate. Results showed that - because of its effect on both ethical context factors ? ethical leadership has great importance to transform ethical context in organization.
