Abstract
Innovation concept with a brief description is to create added value as a result of using in a new production, production process, marketing methods, or in management activities. The culture of organization bringing a basic character to an organization, differing it from others and defined as common attitudes, beliefs and behaviors of employees is essential because of promoting innovation activities in the organization, preparing a suitable environment or preventing innovative work. The main purpose of the study is to determine the effect of organizational culture on the innovation. In other words, its aim is to determine the type of culture that dominates the organizations, to specify the effect of four basic dimensions as vision, participation, adaptability and consistency of organizational culture classification we take into consideration in this research made by Denison on the innovation of product, marketing, and strategy, and to reveal which dimensions of organizational culture promote or prevent innovation activities. Moreover, its purpose is to contribute to literature about the research. Our study is conducted with 245 managers working in enterprises operating in the industrial zone in Gaziantep. As a data collection tool, survey is used. In the analysis of data, firstly factor analysis is applied, for the sub-dimensions of the factors, correlation analysis is used, and finally multiple regression analysis is made. As a result, it is found out that the dimensions of participation, adaptation and consistency have a positive effect on process innovation; the dimensions of vision and participation in work have positive effect on product innovation; the dimension of adaptability has a positive effect on marketing innovation, and finally the dimensions of participation in work and adaptability have a positive effect on strategy innovation.
