This article concentrates on how destination development is conducted in a Cittaslow context. The purpose of this article is to determine the relation between tourism and Cittaslow. This study reflects the views of local officials responsible in Seferihisar which is first slow city of Turkey. The study is based on a combination of qualitative interviews and observations.
