Abstract

Main aim of this study is to analyze the role and importance of education on human development index based on the United Nations Human Development Report. Based on Tukey HSD test result, it is concluded that expected years of schooling for all the level of HDI countries is significantly different each other. It is also observed that HDI level of countries are highly positive correlated expected years of schooling. In the study, it is concluded education is the one of the most important factor for human development and welfare for this reason it is vital to develop policies and strategies to strengthen of education for the society.
