Tahmis Made To Necati Bey Ghazals

Abstract

A type of poem tahmis, is a kind of similar poem, usually a ghazal or eulogy couplets, is the name of a poem established by another poet, with the same rhyme and three lines in his vein. In this study, the tahmis written to the ghazal of Necati, one of the founders of ottoman literature, will be examined. As a result of the screening of hundreds of religious and poetry magazines, Necatî had 17 different ghazals and 31 tahmis made by 24 poets. In addition, 3 poems seem to be 6 tesdis. The poems of Necati, Celâlî, Rahmî and Mu’îdî’s 3; Muhibbî’s 2; Âhî, Aşkî Mustafa, Bâkî, Cenâbî, Çâkerî, Efserî, Fazlî, Fehmî, Fevrî, Figânî, Hayâtî, Hecrî, Hilâlî, Mihrî, Nazmî, Nefîsî, Remzî, Semmî, Ulvî and Yetîmî’s written one tahmis. In our work; some evaluations will be made based on these tahmis.
