On The Kiyã‚Fet-Nã‚Me In The Sohbetu’L-Ebkã‚R Mathnawi Of Nev’İ-Zã‚De Atã‚Þ

Abstract

In the Ottoman literature the kıyâfet-nâme which emerged as a literary genre, It is the name of the works which give the provisions about the inner world such as character and morality by getting out of the elements belonging to the physical appearance such as height, face, eye, hand and foot. It has become an important tradition in our kıyâfet-nâme literature, which has been preserved both as a poet and a poet. According to our findings, the author has a specific and indefinite text of 33 independent kıyâfet-nâme. In addition, 9 examples of kıyâfet-nâme are included in various works of art. Again in some mathnawi we see kıyâfet-nâme. In the Ottoman literature, the first example of kıyâfet-nâme is found in the Murâd-nâme mathnawi of Bedr-i Dilşâd. In this study, Nev’î-zâde Atâî, who is one of the 17th century poets, will be introduced and introduced to the kıyâfet-nâme in the mathnawi of Sohbetü’l-Ebkâr composed of 3450 couplets which he received by being influenced by the work of Molla Câmi’s Sübhatü’l-Ebrâr, the function of the construction of the mathnawi will be noted.
