Abstract

ABSTRACT Many nations were found in independence uprising with the deterioration phase of Ottoman State at the late 19. Century. Many countries had supported these nations independence struggle. Russia was one of these countries. Russia started to occupation of Eastern regions and moved on Ağrı Doğu Beyazıt. Local powers showed serious resistance to Russian move. Ansaris , Celal Yardımcı is a member of this group, showed a serious resistance at this region. With the broken of resistance Ansaris immigrated to Iran, with the Bolshevik Revolution Russian army withdrew from region and Ansaris come back to Doğu Beyazıt. Celal Yardımcı who is a member of Ansari family, was grow up under war conditions, had seen many deportations and although of these he completed his education succesfully. After the completion of education, had pursued bar and become popular at country by the succes in bar. He entered to parliament in 1950 as Ağrı MP from Democratic Party. He had a voice in management of country between 1950-1960 and pursued ministerial positions best. Celal Yardımcı was convicted with Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes and other friends by the May 27,1960 coup at Yassıada. He was sentenced to death at Yassıada trials. His death sentence commuted to life sentence and had served sentence in several prisons until 1965. Yardımcı has important services at Turkish political history. He entered in political area after prison life.
