Abstract

The Kutadgu Bilig, which has always been a guiding work and has always maintained its importance from the period it was written to today and during the period it continues its existence, is an important work in terms of Turkish language and literature. When examining the content of the Kutadgu Bilig is not just limited to thick Turkish language and literature, the work has variety of information in the areas from language to literature, from literature to history, from history to economy, from economy to trade, from trade to accounting and many more. In our study will be focused on expressions regarding business administration, accounting-recording system, commercial life and goods in Kutadgu Bilig, then these expressions will be given in contemporary Turkish. And after, where statements that have attempted to explain the statements presented examples of couplets.
