An Analysis of the Role of Organizational Commitment in the Relation Between Perceived Organization Climate With Employees Work Performance: A Research on Banking Sector

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to detect relationship between organizational climate perceived by employers working in branches of banks and their work performances and its effects over work performance and to evaluate intervening variable role of organizational commitment perceived by employers in relationship between organizational climate and work performance. For this purpose, primarily notions in the research have been defined and relationships among notions have been tried to be supported with initial researches thanks to literature review conducted. Hypotheses of the research have been developed by creating the institutional frame. As a result of analyses conducted, it has been detected that employers? positive organizational climate perceives are positively and meaningfully related to the level of work performance and organizational climate is are positively and meaningfully related to perceive of commitment. In addition, it has been seen that in relationship between organizational climate and work performance, organizational commitment perceives of employers have a regulatory variable role and have a meaningful regulatory effect in this relationship. At the end of the research, some boundnesses that may primarily be put forward have been mentioned and some suggestions have been tried to be brought forward pursuant to research findings.
