Investigation Of Graduate Thesis Made With Respect For Music Education Of The Classroom Training In Turkey

Abstract

The purpose of this study, which is conducted on classroom training music education in Turkey to investigate the graduate thesis. In this context, it is taken up in Turkey until 2019 and made access to the National Council of Higher Education Thesis Center is open 47 graduate theses terms of different variables, grouped in variables being considered. The study was a qualitative research and the data were obtained through document analysis. The sample of the study was determined by criterion sampling which is one of the purposive sampling strategies. In order to examine the theses reached, each thesis was subjected to content analysis using the Graduate Thesis Review Form developed by the researchers. The postgraduate theses of music education about classroom training; (1) the gender of the researchers, (2) years and types of dissertations, (3) the institutes under study, (4) the titles of consultants, (5) methodology, (6) data collection tools, (7) sample / study group sizes, (8) ) the qualifications of the participants, (9) subject areas and (10) the distribution according to the university. According to the results of the research; The highest proportion of the thesis studies examined is composed of master's theses; the most dissertation was conducted in 2019; thirteen doctoral dissertations and one proficiency in arts dissertation; most studies were carried out at Gazi University and Educational Sciences Institutes; In the studies, mostly document analysis was used by using quantitative and qualitative research methods; It has been found that male researchers do more studies than female researchers.
