The Effect of The Level of Social Media Usage on Cyber Loafing

Abstract

IT and internet use sage is increasing this expansion has a great positive effect but also a couple responsibilities with the usage of the internet. With the increase from IT and internet usage at the work floor brings a huge responsibilities as for the employee as the company because of private usesage. The policy for internet usage is for the most of the companies is to reduce private use sage at the work floor. Some of companies are blocking pages like social media. The employees are not aware how much time they are spending on internet for private usage, they are acting like they are very busy with there work but spending too much private time on the web . The companies are aware because they can calculate the need of band broad for the company, unfortunately this situation is very uncomfortable for both sides. In this research, we want to know what is the side effect of internet use sage and there relation between cyber loafing. In this context we did a research in Ankara at the Automotive industrial area by 118 employees. After the research we put all the input on the SPSS 23â„¢ statistic program analyse system. We are able to analyse the relation between social media and cyberloafing.
