Abstract

The purpose of the study; gain/loss analyse of publicly-traded top thirty companies in Istanbul Stock Exchange which have credit insurance coverage. Independent Audit and Annual reports of the companies are used in process of the analysis. In the analyses made based on the finalized 2018 year-end data, it was found that companies' credit insurance would enable them to make a total economic gain. In this regard, it is possible to observe that the premium costs of the companies that have insurance coverage are lower than their receivables that become swamps.
