Abstract

In today's conditions, it causes the economic problems of the countries in parallel to the population increases. For this reason, rapid change in economic, social, cultural and technological areas in the globalized world has made development more important today. Developing the entrepreneurial spirit is an important factor to ensure that rural residents are entrepreneurs and to keep the rural population in place to reduce the increasing population pressure in cities, especially in developing countries. In this study, entrepreneurial spirit and ways of developing entrepreneurial spirit were investigated. Ways of encouraging the entrepreneurship of rural people have been explored. Entrepreneurship spirit affects many factors starting from childhood, the environment where the individual grows, socio-cultural structure, education, economic developments, state policies, financial resources as entrepreneurship infrastructure, physical infrastructure, management skills, technology and the openness of the internal market.With this study, suggestions have been made for the rural people to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship.
