Economic activities are sometimes identified by needs, sometimes by curiosity, and sometimes by talents. For this reason, most of the people living in Sivas are agriculture and animal husbandry. Of course, there are widespread occupations in the household and facing the market. Many of the professions that have disappeared today continue to exist at that time. Some occupations are allocated to muslims in the subject period (such as military service). It is heavily preferred in some occupations (such as debbags). 1833 Sivas Muslim Population Books were taken as the basis in the occupational classifications put forward in this study. These books were translated into modern Turkic in 2013 by Salih ?AH?N in the name of "Sivas with Place and Man".
