Uskudar ? Ahmediye Kulliyesi Haziresi Tomb Stone Headgear Typology

Abstract

Tombstone which is come across as one of the target stone of civilization of Turkish- Islamic tradition attracts with it?s bulk and style. Appearing of clothes on Sulton's sons points out that the identity wraps around oneself in the tombstone. Uskudar - Ahmediye Külliye Haziresi is one of the examples of these kinds of practices. Ninety nine ?ahide(name of tombstone) in the tomb of hazire are classified by themselves typologically and are offered to the literature. In these there are eighteen quilted turban of clerk, twenty quilted turban of scholar, two costom quilted turban, a classic quilted turban, a nettle tree berry quilted turban, a large quilted turban, a sun course and five ornament quilted turban for women. Headgears given by their drawings and cronogically and unity style are aimed to create healthy information pools. In 18 and 19 centuries the changes shown in headgears are given by analayzing and classifying.
