Abstract

The Roman Bath known as the Terziköy Thermae is located in the Çivi Village connected center county of Amasya and 35 kilometers distance from there. The permission of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in the cooperation with Amasya Museum and Hitit University continued excavation workings during the June and July months of 2012 year. Previously, As a result of architecture and road construction work and illegal excavation were damaged Antic settlement. The remaining of the antic architecture, drilling and excavation work result was revealed. Functional characteristics of the ancient structure, consisting of different sections, understood to be a big baths. The building showed different stratigraphy features from The Early Roman Period to A. D. the sixth century. During the excavation, a large number of small findings such as terracotta, glass, minerals and coins from the period of I. Justiniaus (526-528 years) have been uncovered. According to the data of architecture, During the 600 years of the Roman Empire it has proved to be a settlement period has been settled.
