Specialisation Et Disparites Dans L’Europe Des Regions Et Des Pays

Abstract

L’objectif de ce papier est d’analyser l’évolution temporelle de la spécialisation des pays et des régions NUTS 3 en Europe et de dresser un panorama des disparités internationales et interrégionales en termes de spécialisation au sein de l’UE25. Cette analyse est développée à l’aide des modèles de trend temporel construits sur des indices de spécialisation de type Herfindahl-Hirschmann et Krugman. Les résultats obtenus montrent que la spécialisation des territoires a augmenté entre 1995 et 2004, d’une manière plus nette au niveau des régions qu’au niveau des pays. Néanmoins, les niveaux de spécialisation des régions européennes se rapprochent d’une moyenne globale européenne, mais sont de moins en moins similaires à l’intérieur des pays analysés. The main aim of this article is to analyze the evolution of specialization of countries and regions at level NUTS 3 in Europe and offer an overview of the main features of specialization in the EU-25, having into account models based on the indexes of specialization of type Helfindahl-Hirschaman and Krugman. The results shows an increase in specialization for the period 1995-2004.
