Las Determinaciones Económicas De Los "Contratos Petroleros" En Argentina (1958-1963)

Abstract

Este artículo investiga los contratos de producción petrolera en Argentina entre 1958 y 1963. Se analizan las condiciones materiales de producción, las formas de valorización del capital y la relación del sector con el resto de la economía. Con base en fuentes estadísticas poco estudiadas se muestra, primero, que la producción bajo los contratos arrojaba ganancias extraordinarias derivadas de las condiciones naturales de los yacimientos, es decir, rentas de la tierra. Segundo, se señala que parte de esta renta fue transferida hacia el conjunto del capital industrial local mediante el abaratamiento de los combustibles.
