Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide an up-to-date assessment of the current situation in Kazakhstan with the creation of the author’s developments, inventions and breeding solutions, as well as to determine the most optimal conditions for the transfer of intellectual property from abroad. To fulfil the task, the method of statistical analysis was applied, and an empirical study in the format of an Internet questionnaire survey of representatives of the target audience was conducted. In addition, an algorithmic model was created, including the sequence of actions when launching a scientific project. In the process, the indicators for the previous five years were compared in terms of such indicators as the number of patent applications filed, the number of patents granted, the number of registered trademarks and inventions. A survey was also conducted among inventors and innovators, in which they were asked to assess the procedure of intellectual property registration and the practice of international technology transfer to and from Kazakhstan. The obtained information was processed, resulting in the formation of an arithmetic average assessment of key processes given by direct participants of the intellectual community.
