Vsekakor bi se vsi strinjali s tem, da se je življenje v zadnjem desetletju bistveno spremenilo. Nedavna gospodarska, predvsem pa finančna kriza je razkrila številne pomanjkljivosti finančnih sistemov in institucij ter precej zamajala njihovo stabilnost
