Generative Künstliche Intelligenz reduziert Nachfrage nach Freelance-Arbeit auf Online-Plattformen

Abstract

Die einfache Bedienung und die vielseitigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten generativer Künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) bergen das Potenzial, verschiedene Aufgaben zu automatisieren und somit die Arbeitswelt grundlegend zu verändern. Vor allem freiberufliche Tätigkeiten im Digitalbereich, die durch kurzfristige und flexible Arbeitsaufträge gekennzeichnet sind, sehen sich bereits einer wachsenden Konkurrenz durch generative KI-Technologien (wie beispielsweise ChatGPT) ausgesetzt. Eine Analyse der Nachfrage nach Freelance-Arbeit auf Online-Plattformen deutet auf einen signifikanten Rückgang in der Anzahl von Aufträgen für Tätigkeiten hin, die leicht automatisiert werden können. Dies betrifft unter anderem die Bereiche Schreibarbeit, Software-, App- und Web-Entwicklung sowie Grafikdesign. Verbleibende Aufträge sind zudem komplexer und haben auch ein höheres Budget. Gezielte Weiterbildungs- und Umschulungsprogramme zum Umgang und Arbeiten mit generativer KI sind notwendig, um Beschäftigte auf den Einsatz generativer KI vorzubereiten und negative Auswirkungen auf die Nachfrage nach Freelance-Arbeit abzufedern.
