Gesamtwirtschaftliche und unternehmerische Anpassungsfortschritte in Ostdeutschland: Dreizehnter Bericht

Abstract

Vor fuenf Jahren, mit der Schaffung einer Waehrungs-, Wirtschafts- und Sozialunion zwischen der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik, wurde Deutschland wirtschaftlich wieder vereint. Was sich in vier Jahrzehnten weit auseinanderentwickelt hatte, waechst seither unter grossen Schwierigkeiten wieder zusammen. Erst im nachhinein zeigt sich in aller Deutlichkeit, was dafuer an Kraft, Geld und Zeit notwendig ist. Das Deutsche Institut fuer Wirtschaftsforschung, Berlin, das Institut fuer Wirtschaftsforschung Halle und das Institut fuer Weltwirtschaft, Kiel, haben den wirtschaftlichen Neuaufbau in Ostdeutschland im Rahmen eines Forschungsprojekts von Anfang an begleitet, das das Bundesministerium fuer Wirtschaft in Auftrag gegeben hat. Nunmehr ist der dreizehnte Bericht vorgelegt worden.
