Abstract

This article deals with the social transition of the behaviour of consumers in the last 20 years. In a first step it will be proposed a conceptualization of the role of the consumer as an ideal type. In the second step the focus will be laid on the phenomenon of prosuming for the sake of assessing which changes in the behavior of consumers are observable and what their generalizable tendency in comparison with the ideal type could be.
