Socio-Integration Potential of Bilingualism in Overcoming the Inter-Ethnic Tension

Abstract

Aim. To reveal the peculiarities of overcoming interethnic tension in the world and regional space by addressing the constructive potential of bilingualism.Method. Building intercultural dialogue by means of language communication, which, in turn, enhances the creative potential of culture in the prevention of ethnic and social tensions and the weakening of the conflictogenic potential of a multi-ethnic environment.Conclusion. Bilingualism is a sociocommunicative resource that allows you to organically combine the fundamental ethno-cultural values and socio-integrative imperatives of the modern world.
