Abstract

Aim. Comparison of structure, content, formal means of dialogue expression in Russian and the Avar language. Results. The authors consider different approaches to the implementation of comparative analysis from the point of view of the linguistics and methods of teaching languages. Conclusions. A comparative analysis of the dialogues in Russian and the Avar language shows that the range of formal means of expression is limited. At the same time, each of the compared languages has sufficient distinctive structure, content, and means of expression. The mistakes the Avar pupils make when constructing the dialogues for different situations are explained by the fact that Russian syntactic constructions are built by them according to the rules of their native language syntax.Â
