Abstract

ABSTRACT. The aim is studying the process of interaction of mytho-folklore and literary traditions in the Lezgin poetry basing on “Sharvili†poem by I. Guseynov. The author of the article attempts to characterize the role of mytho-folklore motifs, mythological units used by I. Guseynov in forming the artistic worldview, in creating the epic, folk hero Sharvili basing on the poet’s worldview and the modern research. Methods: comparative-historical, comparative-typological, analytical ones and the method of descriptive poetics. During the analysis of literary texts, she uses word-for-word translation. Results. The study of forms and methods of transformation and functioning of the classic archetypes and mythologems, ancient folklore and mythological representations of both ethnic and world cultures has shown that the myth becomes an organic part of contemporary artworks. Conclusions. For the first time the author studies “Sharvili†poem in the context of Eurasian idea; it gave the Lezgin poetry the opportunity to join the Eurasian space. She reveals the features of the Lezgin poet’s mythological worldview and philosophical and aesthetic search.Â
