Abstract

We live in a technological age, an age of the digital economy, an age based on technologies. These innovations have brought about many changes in society, starting with people's lifestyles and ending with large international trade structures. The importance of this research results from the need for digital technologies for the trade of the Republic of Moldova. Following this phenomenon, new economic concepts and ideologies emerged. Digitization is now found in all areas of human society and has also influenced commerce, one of the essential branches of society. This article aims to research the public opinion regarding the digitization process and its influence on the agri-food trade, the dangers that come with this phenomenon and the importance of educating the population about these changes.
