Voting Participation And Voting Procedure In Local Public Administration In Romania

Abstract

In exercising its attributions, the local council adopts decisions, by absolute or simple majority, as the case may be. By way of exception, decisions regarding the acquisition or alienation of ownership rights, in the case of real estate, are adopted by the local council with a qualified majority of two thirds of the number of local councilors.
