Abstract

Студията разглежда мястото на поведенческата икономика в структурата на икономическите знания и практиката на държавното регулиране. Защитава се тезата, че неокласицизмът е удачен нормативен подход за анализ на човешкото поведение, но в отговорите на дескриптивните, диагностичните, прогностичните и перспективните въпроси сравнителните предимства са на страната на поведенческата икономика. Проследяват се историческите корени, накратко се представят идеите на поведенческата икономика за ограничените рационалност, воля и егоизъм, както и приносът на поведенческия подход към идеологията и практиката на държавната намеса. Представена е идеята за либертарианския патернализъм и ролята й за трансформацията на „държава на благосъстоянието“ в придобиващата все по-ясни измерения „нова патерналистична държава“.
