Abstract

Дигиталната революция и изискванията за устойчивост са най-важните детерминанти на икономическото развитие през последните години. Като механизъм за защита от рискове застраховането може пряко или косвено да подпомогне постигането на много от глобалните цели за устойчиво развитие на ООН. Вече съществува специал-зиран софтуер с изкуствен интелект за вземане на решения, който позволява на застрахователите да предлагат индивидуални услуги, ориентирани към клиента и базирани на микросегменти и персонализирани рискови профили. Чрез предлагане на по-адекватен набор от застрахователни продукти застрахователният сектор създава мрежа за финансово осигуряване на жени, семейства и предприятия, допринася за намаляване на бедността и подпомага икономическия растеж, иновациите и заетостта. В тази връзка целта на настоящата публикация е да представи възможностите и предизвикателствата, свързани с приложението на информационните технологии в застраховането.
