Икономика, Базирана На Знанието: Движещи Сили И Индикатори

Abstract

Идеята за заместването на капитала от знанието като основен източник на прогрес дава основа за развитие на идеята за “икономика, базирана на знанието”. Това е икономика, в която знанието се превръща в доминиращ ресурс точно по същия начин, по който на един предходен етап капиталът е изместил земята като източник на икономическа мощ при прехода от пред-индустриално към индустриално общество. В статията са обособени няколко групи индикатори, идентифициращи степента на развитие на икономиката и обществото, базирани на знанието: структура на заетостта (относителни дялове на заетите лица по икономически отрасли и подотрасли, заедно с промяната в тези дялове); образование (достъп до професионално и висше образование; относителен дял на разходите за образование и професионално обучение в БВП); НИРД (изследователи по научни области; инвестиции в НИРД като % от БВП; структура на източниците на финансиране на НИРД, и по-специално, дял на частното финансиране.
