Abstract

Развитието на финансовия сектор в условията на засилващи се регулаторни изисквания и надзорни дейности е поставено пред редица предизвикателства, свързани с тяхната методологична издържаност и възможности за приложение. Настоящата статия има за цел да представи регулаторните изисквания, които трябва да изпълняват банковите и застрахователните институции на пазара. Проведеното изследване разглежда еволюцията на капиталовите изисквания за банковия и застрахователния сектор. Представени са резултатите от прилагането на действащата регу-латорна рамка Базел III за банките и Платежоспособност II за застрахователите.
