Abstract

Проблемите, свързани с управлението на банковата ликвидност и търсенето на оптимални за банките нива на ликвидни активи, придобиват изключителна актуалност и са обект на интерес както за регулаторните органи и изследователите в областта на банковото дело, така и за широката общественост. Актуалността на тези проблеми произтича от значението на банките за икономическото развитие на националните стопанства, от една страна, и от друга поради способността на банковите проблеми да се трансформират в секторни, национални и международни финансови кризи. Интеграцията и силната зависимост между икономиките на страните по света се оказват ключов фактор за акумулиране на скрити негативни ефекти, които при благоприятни условия се превръщат в среда за развитието на криза.
